With tall pines, Italian cypresses, Mona Lisa roses and boxtree borders, La Terrasse Renaissance welcomes you for lunch or a gourmet snack, with a breathtaking view of the château.
Opening hours: February 8 to November 1st, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Sunday, November 2, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
From November 8 to 11, the crêperie will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Christmas holidays: December 26 to January 4, 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Clos Lucé will be closed on December 25 and January 1st, 2026; on December 24 and 31, the site will close at 4:00 PM).
La Table du Moulin and the take-away catering
In the tranquility of Leonardo da Vinci park, in front of
the Mill with Leonardo’s gearing, lunch is served in a shady arbour.
Throughout the day: hot drinks, refreshments and treats. La Table du Moulin offers a choice of mixed salads, grills, desserts and homemade sandwiches, paninis, chips.
Opposite La Table du Moulin, takeaway catering is perfect for anyone wanting to have a snack in the park.

L’Auberge du Prieuré: a gastronomic journey to the time of Leonardo da Vinci
In this inn, Chef Sieur Sausin, a specialist in historical
cuisine, takes gourmets on a gastronomic journey to the time of Leonardo da
Vinci.
Throughout the year, on the shaded terrace or by the fireplace, visitors can enjoy Renaissance-inspired recipes in a unique setting: confit of chicken in local wine, squash “gastiau” with caraway, salmon aumônière with basil, and leek tredura…. Waiters wear Renaissance costumes and the menu, filled with historical anecdotes, is presented in the traditional old "François" or medieval French. A tasty and immersive experience for the family. meals on Wednesdays 9, 16, 23 and 30 July and 6, 13 and 20 August 2025. For
€37.00 per person (lunch and entertainment included), treat yourself to a
